I spoke to Samsung tech support today and was advised that My Motospeak is not compatible with android 4.3. I immediately returned to Motorola tech support (three times in two day) and after 1.5 hours on hold, Motorola confirmed they are no longer supporting My Motospeak for android and Motorola BT devices beyond Android 4.2.1. In light of the fact that Google now owns Motorola, I need to wait on Google text to talk, I explained that in its current configuration, Google text to talk sucks. Motorola says there is nothing they can do for me. I uninstalled My Motospeak (and reinstalled google and samsung talk to text) and hopefully there will be another app soon that will allow me to answer text messages handsfree.

Seems you're not alone with this issue. I've read several reviews with the same complaint. I too am having the same problem. Using the HX550, (Galaxy 4) Motospeak works fine when making calls, but will not work with texts, it either fails to connect or continuously loops as if it didn't understand the text message.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling an older version because I thought the issue was with the Motospeak update(3.0.57), but had the same problems when I installed 3.0.54 (which had worked previously.) I've been forced to use SVoice, which I am not at all happy with, it is slow, tedious and cumbersome.John, if this is an issue with Motorola and Motospeak/Android 4.3, I fail to see how taking the device to a service center would be more than a huge waste of time. Got to love/hate tech support. Motorola's tech support is definitely sending out mixed messages. If you do a search on their forums you will find posts saying they are aware of the issue and working on a solution. So I guess it just depends on which tech support guy you get as to what answer you will be given.Thank you for posting about this because I was prompted to update to 4.3 on my S3, and with this knowledge I will hold off for a while, if not forever. LOLI will say that one I did find as an issue with the 4.2 update was I had to completely disable S Voice in order for Motospeak to work at all.
Because S Voice completely took over all bluetooth prompts and I couldn't find a way to allow Motospeak to be the default anymore. And for me S Voice never worked very well, and the biggest issue I had with S Voice was it would allow me to place calls using my HX550 unless I unlocked the screen.

Kind of violates 'hands free'. JAZZGUYSA,You are correct and I apologize for John's misdirection. When reaching out to Motorola the only information they provided in troubleshooting this particular application was this link here If the steps performed within this support page from Motorola does not provide a solution I would highly suggest either reaching out to Motorola directly for additional support or reviewing recommendation listing in Play Store for a new application that may fit your needs.Sprint Social Care TeamDavid.
